Pūmanawa Āwhina (Community Connect) Announces New Board of Directors

 

Pūmanawa Āwhina, known for its impactful community and sporting initiatives, is pleased to announce the appointment of its new Board of Directors, marking a significant milestone in its commitment to fostering community development with physical activity being the core driver for connection.

The newly appointed board members bring a wealth of diverse experience and expertise, reflecting Pūmanawa Āwhina's dedication to ensuring robust governance and strategic direction. Comprised of accomplished professionals from various social sectors, the board will play a pivotal role in steering the organization towards continued growth, sustainability and enhanced engagement across Aotearoa.

The incoming Board of Directors includes:

  • Joe Sprangers (Board Chair & current CE of Touch NZ)
  • Junior Armstrong (Director)
  • Chillion Sanerivi (Director)
  • Dr Roxanna Holdsworth (Director)
  • Toby Cunliffe-Steel (Director)
  • Lynette Adams (Director)
  • Keri Bryan (Director & also currently sits on the Touch NZ Board)

 

Each member brings a unique perspective and commitment to advancing Pūmanawa Āwhina's goals of promoting social equity, fostering inclusivity, and addressing community needs effectively.
