We are stoked to welcome Richard Scott to the Pūmanawa Āwhina whānau as the new Regional Manager for Tāmaki Makaurau!
Richard is no stranger to Pūmanawa Āwhina – in fact, he’s been part of our journey since the very beginning in 2017, serving as the ACC Injury Prevention Partner for Tāmaki. His familiarity with the programme, our rōpū, and each of the Community Connect areas makes him an incredible asset as he steps into this new leadership role.
Richard brings with him a wealth of experience across the spectrum – from governance and strategic safety leadership to hands-on, frontline mahi. His ability to connect with people at every level is one of his many strengths, and many of you will remember him as the friendly face behind the tongs at our legendary Bunnings BBQs!
We’re excited about the energy, wisdom, and heart Richard brings to the role. His commitment to community, safety, and collaboration aligns perfectly with our kaupapa, and we know he’ll continue to uplift and strengthen our mahi across the region.
Nau mai, hoki mai Richard – it’s so good to have you officially on board!
